June Monthly Meeting

Come to this month’s meeting at the Cuyahoga County Public Library Garfield Heights Branch located at 5409 Turney Road, in Garfield Heights.

First of all, WOW! What a fabulous VegFest 2017! Crowded all day, great food and wonderful people. It was great seeing so many familiar faces and meeting many new folks.

VEGFEST: Important Parking UPDATE

The Pride in CLE Parade will be closing Lakeside Avenue, which is the street bordering the north side of the Convention Center and the location of the main Convention Center entrance, for part or all of the time between 11 am and 1 pm. The Willard Garage (601 Lakeside Avenue E) will be inaccessible during this time (entering or exiting). Beyond 1 pm, the Willard Garage will be easily accessible off Lakeside.

Other Parking options:

***Huntington Garage is accessible at any time by driving in the West 3rd entrance (just north of Lakeside Avenue) and walking to the main Convention Center entrance on Lakeside.

***A short walk away is the Galleria parking garage near East Ninth, off of Lakeside.

***The Marriott Hotel underground garage is just across St. Clair from the Global Center (south) entrance of the Convention Center.

***You can also park or take the RTA Rapid Transit to Tower City Center. From there, you can walk to the Convention Center (14 minute walk) or take The RTA C-Line Trolley which runs to the Convention Center, with FREE service between the Warehouse District, Tower City at Public Square, Playhouse Square, Cleveland State University, and the Huntington Convention Center.

A map with the parking garages can be found below. There are many bike racks at the Convention Center, so cyclists have plenty of spots!
